If you’re interested in learning to drive, you can sign up for driving lessons at the school! You can go to classroom 231 to take the practical exam and ask Mr. Akel or Mr. Sala for help. They’ll teach you how to drive, give you driving lessons, and guide you through the entire process of getting your driver’s license all right here at the school! They’ll also give you practice booklets with questions similar to those on the practical exam so you can study and be prepared. To pass you only need to answer 14 out of 20 questions correctly. Afterward, they’ll help you schedule your appointment at the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles), and you’ll need to bring the necessary documents to get your license. Mr. Akel even offers to accompany you! Once you have your license, you can get behind the wheel, and with no time you’ll become a licensed New York driver!

I asked both of my classmates Jayden Rodriguez and Reymond Rodriguez about their experience with the driver’s Ed Class.

Jayden Rodriguez said ” This class has helped me get comfortable and confident behind the wheel, with constant practice and my them helping me with the road. I can now drive my family from Point A to B.

I feel ready for my road test for this month.”
