Mob Psycho is a coming of age Shonen manga/comedy anime that released on July 12, 2016 about a boy named Shigeo Kageyama, an esper with powers of telepathy and exorcism that vary in strength depending on emotion.

He struggles to live a normal life alongside his friends and family because of his powers, and they become a difficult issue to tackle as he works hard to become a person he can be proud of: someone who is strong and confident even without his powers.

Some notable figures in this story are Shigeo’s boss: Reigen Arataka, his brother: Ritsu Kageyama and a ghost that haunts him in an effort to take his power named “Dimple”.

I rate this anime an 8/10

The story contains a decent amount of  action which personally I find enjoyable and exciting. Mob psycho is an especially good anime for people who want a down to earth show with characters they can relate to like Shigeo who throughout the show completes everyday tasks such as working out and joining clubs in order be more social and have a normal life. For people who would like to watch this series all three seasons are available on Crunchyroll and two seasons are available only until January 1st, 2026.
