The influence of Heroin on people

The influence of Heroin on people

There are many substances that are consumed by teenagers or street people who have lost everything because of these substances and who can become addicted. These elections may be a result of the many uncertainties we face every day. Whether it’s academic problems, sports problems, love problems, depression, alcohol or family problems, there are complicated situations and decisions that people make without caring about the results of their actions. And that leads many people to take one of the most addictive and exhausting drugs for the human body: heroin.

Heroin is a drug that has a high potential for abuse; It is not currently accepted for medical use in treatments in the United States due to its strong consequence of activating specific receptors in the brain called opioid receptors. Our bodies contain natural chemicals called neurotransmitters that can be found in (Neurotransmitters: what they are, functions and types) what they do is send chemical messages to the body to make it function not to mention that they bind to these receptors throughout the brain and body to regulate the pain, the release of hormones and the feeling of well-being. However, in medical uses it is only used for a little less than a fraction of its use, which constitutes an accepted lack of safety for use under medical supervision.

Although I have come to understand how heroin traffickers have illegally smuggled heroin into the United States over the years.I spoke with the history teacher, Batista Elvin. I asked him his opinion on heroin trafficking.

“I think that first the drug traffickers use people, normal people, citizens like you and me to try to do that job. Well, it does it in a different way than what I have read and known, there are some who put it in their body to eventually try to get it out. But the method is done on a dead or alive corpse because during the Vietnam War there were people who trafficked drugs and put the drugs inside dead people or on commercial maritime vessels and through package delivery services that give a visible level of The authorities. And when they were transferred from Vietnam to the United States, that caused a lot of drugs to be brought into the United States, but at a negligible level. More recently they use a different way of introducing medications.”

Although Bautista points out that traffickers traffic heroin in different ways, whether transporting it in private vehicles to people who carry it imperceptibly. Which is also due to how the drug has increased in the United States.

There is also how heroin use affects people knowing that it harms their physical and mental health. Talk to a nurse at MEDIA Alley ClayCog, a school on the George Washington Educational Campus.

“I believe it is a physically and mentally addictive drug used for a long time and that it has mental health components to the addiction. You have to look at all people, addiction doesn’t come from anywhere, generally there are mental health problems that come before or maybe problems that happen in the circumstances, like at home, there are other mental health problems, depression, anxiety, etc You have to observe those elements too. Getting out of this addiction is incredibly difficult but with medical, psychological care, support from a parental or even family system, by not including it in recovery and making a life project, one does not quickly free oneself from addiction, it is a process. of recovery for life.”

In Miss Alley’s opinion, the addiction caused by heroin is almost incurable and very difficult to stop since it is a lifelong challenge and following it is very difficult, since extreme discipline is needed to be able to take the first step on the path towards abandoning addiction. and move forward in life. This may also be due to the adequate release of endorphins in the brain caused by heroin, blocking the perception of pain and increasing the feeling of well-being. Many people use heroin to forget about their worries and say it calms them down. and helps relieve stress. But at the same time, others fight to control it and prevent it from taking over them. But no one has ever realized how many directions it can take you from where you are.[-
