Holiday Spirit at TCA!

In December before we had the winter break The College Academy had our annual holiday spirit week. We decorated cookies, had hot chocolate, wore pajamas and had a movie night.The mood in the school was festive because everyone including myself got to celebrate the season as a community. There were smiles on everyone’s faces!

We asked people around TCA what they wanted for Christmas here were some of their responses.

Alex Ramos is a 16 year old high school senior. He is a writer for tca news. He doesn't have much personal interest besides playing video games, watching shows and hanging out with friends He’s currently fixated on the anime Dungeon Meshi and the game franchise Persona. He’s currently playing Cult Of The Lamb and I think he enjoys it a lot. His goal for this newspaper is to write about the things I enjoy like shows and videogames while talking about current events.

Kyeanna Gordon

My name is Kyeanna Gordon. My birthday is on December 8th. I'm 15 years old. My favorite things to do in my personal time is sing,dance and play volleyball. I'm so focused on journalism I want to learn new things and be in newspapers. I'm mostly interested in covering for the volleyball team at George Washington high school. I have a lot of goals but my main goal is to finish up high school and go out of state to college.It is important to finish high school because I want to be a cosmetologist.

Justin Mendez

Hello, My name is Justin Mendez, I am currently a Senior at The College Academy and a rising change factor for the world. The things I love that represent me the most is my pursuit in faith, and my goal to improve on myself to become better than the day before. I'm very passionate in media/entertainment, in the discovery of philosophy, technology, and storytelling. I'm also very serious about my active health. I have beneficial habits to help in my diet, my body, and my mind. As a reporter for TCA Heights I will focus on personalized opinionated articles that others might feel inspired by, but as well create articles based on real world events that may inform our readers about what is circulating around our small communities or our big world.
