With the winter sports being over, the spring seasons approach. One of them being the Girls Flag Football, specifically our Lady Trojans. Over the span of three months, we will be going over a variety of practices and drills that help develop our offensive and defensive skills. Such as running routes with the football, pulling each other’s flags, going against each other, and practicing punting the ball. All of these practices we will be using to eventually better our skill in football. Current player Sunayia Alvarez says that “I feel that this football season, we can make it far.” With words like this and our daily affirmations by our coach such as ‘Act the way we’d like to be and soon we’ll be the way we’d like to act.’ … Morning girls! Great opportunity for us to improve and get better today!”, we are sure that our flag football team is going up in success. To keep up with our team’s progress, stayed tuned in for our games on 5/3, 5/7, 5/8, 5/10, and 5/13.
