“The 100” is a popular Netflix series that is based on 100 teens who become the first people from a space habitat to return to Earth after a devastating nuclear apocalypse. Many of my friends have always told me that I should watch the show because it’s interesting. As of right now I’m on season 2 of the series and it is an addicting show! Ever since I started watching it recommended it to others because the action-packed first episode catches your attention right away. I’ve heard some people think “The 100” starts off good but then it starts to become lame towards the ending of the show. However I think the show is worth watching because it teaches you a lot about how to survive and defend yourself using whatever you have. I’ve decided to interview Marcos Gonzales and Terisha Henriquez to hear their opinion on the show since they both already watched it. 

Marcos Gonzales who is a 12 grader at The College Academy has watched the show several times because of how interesting it is. The first question I asked him was “ What is your opinion of “The 100”? Mr. Gonzales then responded with “The show shows the possibility of what can happen to our earth if we don’t take care of it. The second question I asked Mr. Gonzales was “ Would you recommend the show to others why or why not?” His response was ¨ Yes I would recommend the show to others because it has an interesting storyline and well developed characters. 

The next person I decided to interview was Terisha Henriquez who is a 11 grader at The College Academy.  Ms. Henriquez also gave a good review of the show. The First question I decided to ask was “ Is the 100 worth watching? Why or why not?” Ms. Henriquez responded, ¨It is worth watching because 1 it’s interesting and 2 it’s all like a mystery.” The next question I decided to ask was “ Do you think people will like or dislike the show? Ms. Henriquez Told me “People will like the show because its fiction makes it interesting so you don’t know what’s gonna happen next.¨ 

After interviewing Marcos Gonzales and Terisha Henriquez they both had two strong opinions of the show which was interesting to hear. I think it’s worth watching because even if  someone says it’s not a good show you won’t know if you don’t give it a try. People tend to listen to other people’s opinions when it’s better to get your own opinion on it instead of listening to others. The 100 is filled with lots of drama and action which is why many people like the show because there’s always a war that is happening. Unlike other shows like the walking dead it is boring because they’re mostly just talking and not enough action. I feel like the show grabs the viewer’s attention so it is worth watching and giving it a try.
